The Grand Raid BCVS – Swiss Mountain Bike Race Marathon is one of Europe’s most important mountain bike races. It attracts an average of 2,500 participants from 20 countries and over 30,000 spectators. In mountain bike circles, it has become a legendary race.
The Grand Raid BCVS is registered on the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) and Swiss Cycling calendars.
For the MTB Alpine Cup challenge, you can choose to start from Verbier and finish in Grimentz after 125 km, or from Nendaz and finish in Grimentz after 93 km. Please note, however, that this choice must be made at the time of registration and will be final.
The 125km course is renowned as one of the most challenging mountain bike races in the Alps. Located in the heart of the Valais Alps, in an alpine playground, the course crosses various valleys, culminating in the Pas de Lona, at over 2,700m altitude.
