As a reminder, the MTB Alpine Cup challenge opens on distances shorter than the historic Grand Raid, MB Race and Forestière distances. You’ll be able to challenge yourselves on :
Don’t hesitate to try out the shorter distances for your first experience of the MTB Alpine Cup challenge!
But that’s not the only new feature: this year, the Grand Raid BCVS will host the UCI World Championships mountain bike marathon, while the MB Race will support the French Marathon Championships and the UCI Hors Classe label on its 70 km.
With all these new features, we had to work on a completely new points system.
First of all, the number of points is adapted according to the distance covered in the various events, since the challenge opens up to shorter distances than usual.
Secondly, theallocation of points on the MB Race has been modified so that participants in the French Championships (who are obliged to stop at 70 km) are not disadvantaged.
Finally, for the Grand Raid BCVS and the 125 km distance, points will be awarded according to the combined ranking of the World Marathon Championships and the overall scratch ranking of the event.

And by the way, if you haven’t signed up for the 2025 challenge yet, now’s the time!
