This year we’re introducing new distance formats! The Alpine Cup is opening up to shorter distances than the historic Grand Raid, MB Race and La Forestière. If you’d like to take part in these races over shorter distances, it’s now possible! The number of points awarded will depend on the distance covered.
For the MB Race, you’ll have a choice of 70km, 100km or 140km.
For the Grand Raid BCVS, you can choose between two distances at the time of registration: 93km or 125 km.
And for the Forestière, there are two distances to choose from when you register: 70km or 100km!
See the new points scale in the regulations.
Now the choice is yours!

A great challenge with 4 magnificent UCI Marathons on the program. It's a goal for me, along with the French Champion's jersey of course.
I'm the record holder of the Challenge Alpine Cup with 4 victories. It's an incredible sporting challenge that I'm particularly fond of, with some great UCI mountain bike events. Congratulations to the organizers for offering us this great Marathon MTB series.

The Jura Bike Marathon, the MB Race, the Grand Raid BCVS and the Forestière are all part of the UCI Marathon circuit. The MTB Alpine Cup is not just another World Cup, but rather a challenge that includes the finest MTB Marathon events in Europe, enabling the best riders to accumulate points to qualify for the World Championships.
This challenge pushes the limits even further! Riders will battle it out in 4 different events in their bid to ascend the throne and become the king or queen of the lu Challenge MTB Alpine Cup. With more than 430 km and 17,600 m of vertical drop over the 4 events, the MTB Alpine Cup is an extraordinary challenge.
Like the Grand Slam tournaments in tennis, the leaders will defend their crowns on each stage, and the final winner will be decided at the end of La Forestière, the last stage of the challenge. The ranking will be based on the number of points scored over the 4 races. To reward such outstanding performances, there will be attractive prize money and a trophy for the “kings” of marathon mountain biking.
